Game Drives
Game drives take place early morning and late afternoon. Our experienced guides are sure to track and point out the many species of game that roam the Kuzuko reserve. During our night drive nocturnal animals are out and about, and guests get to experience a unique side of the wild. Day visitors’ game drive times may vary.
CONSERVATION IN ACTION
Cheetahs in the Wild
With only 7,000 cheetah left in the world, our cheetah conservation program is especially close to our hearts. Through our highly experienced Reserve Manager, Gerhard de Lange, Kuzuko specialises in wilding orphaned cheetahs to give them the best chance of success in the wild. Tracking released cheetah, often on foot, to monitor their condition is an essential part of our work. We invite our guests to join the conservation team for their daily monitoring and experience conservation in action.

The Kuzuko Wellness Centre is a fully equipped spa staffed by our experienced and highly skilled spa therapist team. We offer a full range of treatments, all the more relaxing as they take place in such a peaceful Karoo setting. EXPLORE THE WILD ON HORSE BACK
Horseriding
Kuzuko Horse Trails have partnered with our neighboring non big 5 game farm to ensure a unique and safe Karoo horse trail experience. We cater for small groups of four intermediate to experienced riders. Our Horseback safaris typically last between 1,5 and 2 hours, at a speed that allows plenty of time for wildlife viewing. Species that you can look forward to viewing include giraffe, springbuck, black wildebeest and sable, not to mention unique bird species and awesome fauna.
AFRICAN NIGHT SKY
Stargazing
Enjoy breathtaking views of the African night sky during our evening cosmic safaris.
Kuzuko Lodge offers some of the best stargazing in Africa. Our trained game rangers trade their binoculars for laser pointers as they guide you through the galaxies, stars, planets and other astral bodies through the lodge’s eight inch telescope.

Photographic Safaris
Photographic safaris are limited to small group sizes, allowing you to better connect with your guide and ensuring that you make the most of every wildlife encounter. A photographic safari is one of the best ways to preserve your safari memories, improve your art and impress your friends back home.

Nature Walk
This walk is intended to provide guests with the freedom to explore the unique landscape and its natural fauna and flora with a ranger in an area where there are no Big 5 animals. Giraffes may be encountered. All ages welcome.
