We are proud to announce the arrival of our new Cheetah male coalition after, Batman and Robin, our previous cheetah male coalition past away due to old age. We would like to thank Vincent van der Merwe from the EWT, the Management and staff of Addo Elephant National Park and the team from Amakhala Game Reserve who all made this introduction possible.
According to Mark Palmer, the Reserve General Manager for Amakhala Game Reserve, these males are 20 months old and became independent from their mother during August. They will spend some time in our holding boma before their release. We look forward to their release and to resume our popular Cheetah encounters. During these Cheetah walks our guests are afforded the opportunity to experience nature through the eyes of the fastest land mammal.
